Heathrow is the main London airport (LHR). The underground or Heathrow Express arrives in the city center. Low-cost companies don’t land in

Heathrow airport, but they land in Gatwick (LGW) and Stansted (STN), with buses and trains to London city.

The other two airports of the five existing ones  in London are Luton (LTN) with train and buses to get to the city center and London city (LCY), the nearest to the capital – 9 kilometers – where you can take a bus or the underground to get to the city center. Low cost companies Ryanair and Easy Jet offer flights from the main European capitals to London city and Luton airport.
